Berlin-Copenhagen by bike
"By bike, between land and sea" is the motto of those who have made the Berlin-Copenhagen route by bike.
From start to finish it is a “green-blue” track. Green for the parks of Berlin and Copenhagen and the forests that the route crosses; blue for the waters that you will cross after Denmark and on the banks of which you will slalom.
You will cross the Stechlin - Ruppin nature park in the north of the Brandenburg region, cross the border to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (German "Mecklenburg-Vorpommern") in the Müritz national park and later in the Nossentiner nature park - Schwinzer Heide (near the town of Schwerin).
In Denmark you will follow the Danish coast. Apart from exploring nature by bike, you can discover the cultural life of the main cities that you will meet on the way - for example in the cities of Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Pomerania or in Denmark with its many castles and burial mounds.
Route length: The Berlin-Copenhagen route from Berlin-Friedrichstraße station to Copenhagen main station stretches over 680 km. The shorter variants, in the form of an excursion, extend over more than 190 km.
Signage: the Berlin-Copenhagen route is signposted on a large majority of the route, both in Germany and in Denmark.
