The Scandibérique, the French section of EuroVelo 3, connects Trondheim (Norway) to Cape Fisterra (Spain) via the Camino de Santiago. It covers over 1,700 km and crosses 20 departments, four regions, and major cities such as Paris and Bordeaux. The route offers the freedom to explore a wide range of urban and heritage sites.

You can identify the route with the Scandibérique – EuroVelo 3 logo. Currently, the route has been primarily on shared roads, with 23% cycle paths and 72% on minor roads with low traffic.

The Scandibérique crosses several other cycling routes in France, allowing you to extend or personalize your cycling trip.

  • The Véloscénie : Depart from the capital by bike to reach the coast and Mont-Saint-Michel on a fully signposted route.
  • The Seine by Bike: Over 510 km of cycle paths connecting Paris to Le Havre or Deauville. The Loire by Bike: A 900 km cycle route between Saint-Nazaire and Nevers.
  • The Flow Vélo : A 290 km route runs between the Dordogne and Charente-Maritime departments.
  • The Canal des 2 Mers by Bike: Between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, there is a cycle route along the Canal du Midi and the Canal de la Garonne.
  • Somme Valley Cycle Route (V30) : connects Tergnier to St-Valery-sur-Somme over 200 km, marked with exceptional natural sites: the Méricourt-sur-Somme marshes.
