From Nieuweschans (The Netherlands) to Hamburg, the circuit includes a total of 546 km of slopes (variants not included).
The journey is flat from Ostfriesland to Hamburg and you will cycle along the dikes. Only the portion between Cuxhaven and Hamburg has some coastline (you will pedal 50 m above sea level). You will ride on tarmac tracks or on unpaved country roads, often along dikes.
Warning: this bike guide only exists in German version, despite a complete mapping, do not hesitate to bring a small lexicon if you have no command of the language.
