The via Turonensis is part of the 4 French paths of the pilgrimage of St Jacques de Compostelle. Historically, it was the most frequented route. 

On your route, you will cross ancient abbeys, basilicas such as Saint Quentin and Saint Denis, the famous cathedrals of Chartres or Orléans. 

You will follow the Sambre and the Oise through the Avesnois bocage to reach the Valley of the Kings.
