Terms and Conditions

SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND DURATION: 

The general conditions of sale apply to any purchase made on the Cartovelo website. 

These may be modified at any time and without prior notice. 

Before any transaction, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted them by checking “I have read the general conditions of sale”. 

The purchase of any products is strictly reserved for adults. 

 

 

THE COMMAND : 

Order confirmation. 

To let you know that we have received your order, you will receive a confirmation email containing the list of product(s) ordered, the price including tax, the selected carrier as well as the estimated delivery time and the invoice. 

The order will be prepared by Cartovelo the next day (working days) and subject to stock availability. 

Cartovelo reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer, in the event of refusal by financial organizations or in the event of previous non-payment. 

 

 

PRICE : 

The prices of the products are indicated in Euros, all taxes included (TTC) . They do not include delivery costs which are indicated when ordering depending on the weight and delivery method.  

Prices are valid as long as the product is online and until prices change, at which time Cartovelo reserves the right to change its prices without notice. 

The products will be invoiced on the basis of the price in effect at the time of validation of the order. 

 

 

PAYMENT METHOD : 

  • Payment by check 

Payment only accepted for France. 

If you pay by check, please send us your payment accompanied by an order form that can be downloaded from the site, indicating your address. Your order will then be sent to you immediately after receipt of your payment. 

  •   Payment by credit card 

We accept payments made with credit cards. Your card will be charged as soon as your order is placed. 

The transmission of banking data is done via secure connection and directly on the Crédit Agricole bank website. 

The following cards are accepted by our payment system: Carte Bleue, Visa, EuroCard MasterCard. 

The banking information entered by the buyer will under no circumstances be stored on Cartovelo servers. 

  •   Payment by bank transfer : 

Authorized from any country (subject to banking agreement with France). 

Your order will then be sent to you only after receipt of payment. 

  •  Payment by PayPal: 

Authorized from any country (subject to banking agreement with France) 

You can use PayPal to pay for your purchases, this use is free as long as it does not include a currency conversion ( Currency Conversions ) . Your order will then be sent to you only after receipt of payment. 

 

 

DELIVERY : 

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order. 

For all orders over 30 kg , contact us. 

For a shipment requested without tracking, we cannot be held responsible for the loss of the package. We recommend that you make a complaint to the postal services.  

- Please note: For Switzerland, you will have to pay Swiss VAT and customs tax upon receipt of the products. 

 

 

DELIVERY METHODS: 

Three choices are offered to you: 

  • In letter followed: up to 2 Kilograms . A tracking number will be sent to you by email when your order is sent . You can use this to find out the progress of your order on the La Poste website : h ttps://www.laposte.fr/outil/suivre-vos-éditions . To receive an alert regarding the progress of your package: Configure alerts 
  • By Colissimo: up to 30 kg . A tracking number will be sent to you by email when your order is sent . You can use this to find out the progress of your order on the La Poste website : https://www.laposte.fr/outil/suivre-vos-éditions . You will be notified by SMS or email of the availability of your package in your mailbox or collection point. 
  • By Mondial Relay:   A tracking number will be sent to you by email when your order is sent . You can use this to know the progress of your order on your Cartovelo customer area or the Mondial Relay website : https://www.mondialrelay.fr/suivi-de-colis/ . You will be notified by SMS or email of the availability of your package at a relay point or “Locker”:
    • Collection in store: It will be done against signature, presentation of an identity document or by communicating the digital code called “Withdrawal code” or on presentation of the QR code accessible via the Application. 
    • Locker  : MONDIAL RELAY sends the recipient an email and/or SMS a digital code called a “Withdrawal code” and/or a “QR code”, which the customer must enter or scan on the Locker terminal .

 

DELIVERY DELAY : 

The announced deadlines are calculated in working days - Saturdays and Sundays are excluded from this calculation.  

  • Letter followed: Up to 10 days 
  • Colissimo: between 48 hours and 10 days 
  • Mondial Relay: between 3 and 10 days  

Under no circumstances can Cartovelo be held responsible for delays caused by carriers: post or otherwise, or delays caused by crossings between countries. 

 

The transport times indicated are the average times observed, however times (particularly outside European countries ) may be longer and are completely beyond our control. 

We thank our customers for their understanding by advising them to take these deadlines into account, knowing that no reimbursement can be made for these causes of delay. 

 

Damaged package : when recovering a package, it must be checked . Both the exterior and the content in order to notify reservations if the product ordered is missing, incomplete or damaged. 

It will be necessary to make precise reservations, define missing products or damage on the delivery note directly upon delivery or collection of the package at a relay point  

The customer must also indicate directly by email or telephone any failure to deliver. Cartovelo will make a complaint to the carrier within 3 days maximum after the delivery/collection date from the customer. 

- If you are absent when the carrier passes, your package may be left at a relay point closest to the initial point of delivery. 

- If an unclaimed package is returned on time, shipping costs will not be refunded. 

 

RETURNS: If, for any reason you are not satisfied with a product you have ordered, the law allows you to return it to us within 14 days of receipt. We will then refund you the full amount of the item. The items must be returned to us in their original condition and the return costs remain your responsibility. Concerning unclaimed packages, the shipping costs of a new shipment are the responsibility of the customer. 
 

 

RIGHT TO RETRACT 

The customer has a period of fourteen (14) working days from the date of receipt of the goods to exercise his right of withdrawal by one of the following means: 

Either by the contact form accessible here: contact form 

Either by sending the withdrawal form by email or post, a model of which is available here: withdrawal form 
 

The customer then has a period of 14 days following communication of his decision to withdraw to return the product(s) he ordered. The product(s) must be returned in its (their) intact packaging and its (their) original packaging, to the physical address (located in mainland France) which will be communicated by mail electronic. 
 

 

RESPIRE SARL does not cover the costs of returning the goods. The buyer's liability is only incurred with regard to the depreciation of the goods resulting from manipulations other than those necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of this goods. 

 

The buyer will be informed by e-mail within seven (7) days of receipt of their return package of the processing of their request. However, if the conditions are met, RESPIRE SARL reimburses the buyer the total amount of their order, within fourteen ( 14 ) days from receipt of the products. Please note that the refund is made by crediting the payment card used when ordering, if this payment method was used. If the buyer used a deferred debit payment card, this reimbursement is only effective at the end of the month.

REFUND : 

Cartovelo undertakes to make the reimbursement within fourteen (14) days following the return of the products. 

 

PROMOTIONS:  

All offers (promotions, packs) offered on the site are valid while stocks last and for the duration indicated as part of the promotion and cannot be combined with cartovelo.fr vouchers. 

 

APPLICABLE LAW IF DISPUTE: 

These general conditions of sale are subject to French law. 

In the event of a dispute with Cartovelo, the customer first undertakes to contact customer service either by telephone 05 49 76 92 56 or via the contact form, in order to seek an amicable solution. If no amicable agreement has been found, the customer may in this case contact the mediation service.
