The greenways of Brittany
The exceptional coastline of Brittany offers beautiful perspectives to cyclists. You can access the major cycling routes of France and Europe from this region. Find maps and guides to prepare your cycling trip along the canals of Brittany and through the ports and lively towns.
The old railroads converted into greenways allow bicycles to follow :
- Route 6, from Carhaix to St Méen-le-Grand
- Route 7, from Roscoff to Concarneau
- Route 3, from St Malo to the Rhuys peninsula
- Route 5, from Mont-St-Michel to the Abers region
These routes can be done over a weekend but you can also cross the French cycle routes in Brittany.
Brittany and the cycle routes
The Tour de Bretagne is becoming more and more accessible to cyclists and invites you to admire its coast and its small fishing ports. In Roscoff, you can join the Vélodyssée on the Eurovelo 1 and the Vélomaritime on the Eurovelo 4. Brittany has other wonderful itineraries around the Gulf of Morbihan or on the Quiberon peninsula.
