Hiking on the Franco-Swiss route

More than 18 days of hiking are listed in this guidebook. Starting in Dole, a city of art and history, you'll cross the Chaume forest to reach the vineyards, where wine and Comté tasting are the order of the day, and then on to the most beautiful villages in France, Château-Chalon and Beaume-les-Messieurs. Then on to the resort of Les Rousses, passing through the Lac de Chalain, and the great sites of the Hérissons waterfall and the Langouettes gorges.

Finally, there are 2 itineraries to finish this crossing, either towards Nyon (Swiss itinerary) and the shores of Lake Geneva, or towards Saint-Claude (original itinerary).
