Cycle route from Salzburg to the Adriatic Sea
This 403 km long route runs from Salzburg in Austria to the Adriatic Sea. You start in the beautiful Salzach Valley and continue through the Gastein Valley to the Tauernschleuse Böckstein-Malnitz
There is very little traffic on the Austrian part of the route, but more traffic on the Italian part.
Follow the green signs of the bike paths Tauern, Gasteinertal, Möll, Drau, Gail and Tarviser. On the Italian side you will find brown signs with the words Ciclovia Alpe Adria. In the future, the entire bike path will be marked with the blue and green logo.
